SKYLIFEGUARD is originated from Abelag (1964) and Sky Service (1975) and therefore has one of the largest air ambulance fleet of aircraft and helicopters.

The first air ambulance flight was carried out in 1973 with a Lear 25 ( At the time the Lear 25 was the most modern jet aircraft). Thanks to that, the company is one of the pioneers in the air ambulance history. Since 1998 an active expansion of the air ambulance fleet has been taking place. Up to now the fleet is made of 9 aircraft and 3 helicopters. Besides, there is a continuous training of the pilots, technicians and doctors.

Skylifeguard aims at a qualitative performance of its air ambulance missions, without losing sight of the economical aspect. For Skylifeguard, service remains one of the main elements of an air ambulance mission.
